Two days

So short seemed those two days

yet so magical beyond the sky

Your presence made my heart race.

I longed to see you,

to feel your warm touch

and your embrace too.

And I couldn’t let you go,

because I realised that

love is stubborn so.

All I can remember truly

was the sadness in your eyes

as my hand slipped away from yours,
